4wd car hire versus 4wd camper hire in Australias the pros and cons. If you wish to have the comfort of fixed accommodation then chose a 4wd car only. The pro and con less freedom as your dependant on the accommodation bookings so you must keep to the itinerary.


4wd Camper
If you wish to have total freedom and get further off the beaten track then the choice is a 4wd camper.

In 2024 we have 3 types of 4wd camper hire with toilet and shower. One in a motorhome concept though heavily booked out in 2024, availabile in 2025 and 2 other models The Rustie Jam (Darwin return) and ASC Camper hire for 5 people.

We also have a number of 4wd's with a cabin mounted on the back so you can step inside and sleep in the back cabin.

With a 4wd camper you can setup whereever you wish.
